Autumn comes to the NWAlps

the leaves are changing colour, the ground is starting to be littered with crispy green bodies and the misty morning and light rain have turned grippy friendly roots  into evil slimey denizens of the dark woods. It's ace! the brambles and stingers are dying back and the penalty for going slightly off line is lessened. The pay back of course is the cleaning process takes longer, no more a case of brushing off dust, it's now out with the sponge and hose. it's only going to get worse too so better to embrace it than hate it
