last of the dry spell

Determined to make the most of the last day of dry weather after hearing that heavy rain was forecast for tomorrow i rushed home from work and was out on the trails 10 minutes later. It's remarkable how dry it is, in no time at all my tyres and frame were covered with a fine layer of dust.
the harvest has been gathered and many routes previously hard to negotiate are now clear again and i made the most of it before it all turned to slurry
