more rain in the last few days meant that the trails were very wet and although it had been dry for a few hours the foliage was soaking and any move slightly off line meant a dousing. I also under estimated a large puddle thinking it was shallower than it actually was and even though i kept them level both my feet got submerged. So, already wet it was pointless to try avoiding tactics on the other puddles which meant i just ploughed through them like a toddler splashing in puddles with a new pair of wellies. After all riding does make you feel like a kid again
