the perfect evening

the rain had stopped, the sun was out, the muddy bits weren't as bad as was feared, the insects didn't bite, the off piste explore through the bilberry bushes didn't kill us and we found probably the best spot to sit and contemplate the scenery, bathed in the early summer evening sunlight. the Esses were conquered after a brief sessioning and the ride ended with a beer
