for the first time this year i left the house for a ride wearing ordinary cycling sock, I left the thermal/wool ones at home and didn't regret it. Sunny, warm and with a light breeze I took a hilly route Into Rowney Green and then up over Cobley hill in the short time i had available. I was quite pleased on my performance on this last one although i know the light bike has a lot to do with it. the weather is holding, fingers (and everything else crossed)
