after work ride tonight, a bit chilly but dry, we headed down into the Valley to meet Ian and did a mixture of urban and canal including the windmill descent, half way into the ride Ben's front wheel began to make some very weird noises and got a proper wobble on. He tried to adjust the bolt through in the hub and found it wouldn't come out at all but the quick release lever was very loose and flopping about, which was the cause of the noise. He decided to ride on even though there was a chance the front wheel might come undone at any moment!, He did however see sense and not take the shortwood tunnel route that the rest of us did, it has a quick rough downhill and some steps and probably wouldn't have been good for his health!
Another mechanical then, this is an expensive hobby.
