in another attempt to claw back some calories for the planned lunch trip i was out early today. it wasn't raining for once although as you can see from the picture the roads weren't exactly dry! weirdly though the canal towpath was relatively puddle free. there were a lot more cyclists about today, no doubt trying to shift the cobwebs and gluttony of yesterday's feasting. Happily i got back about 30 minutes before the next band of heavy rain started and i could go off to my lunch date with the smug glow of someone who has already achieved his exercise goals for the day, bring on the feast!
