just a quick sunday evening ride around the lanes with "C", quick because of the huge rainstorm that was heading our way from the horizon, the roads were still damp from the last downpour so the greasy, gritty corners were very slippery. there's one particularly steep hill on the route that i thought "C" might struggle one but she tried to outsprint me!, we then had a long fast downhill to home, made even more head down big ring fun by the imminent rain, we made it back with minutes to spare before the clouds burst
