it was such a lovely day a long ride was called for, no one else wanted to ride so i tried out the canal to Worcester. if you read this blog you'll know the conditions i met last time i rode the towpath-sorbet mud!, this time despite a few sticky bits it was dry and even dusty in places, there aren't many technical bits to be honest so it's just a workout for the legs as it's very pedally, once at Worcester i went via Claines to the Droitwich canal and the loop back to the B'ham Worcs but in the opposite direction, this is the longest ride of the year so far and i'll admit the last 7 or so miles were quite tough as i was flagging a bit, but it was good to beat my previous longest for 2012 which was 38 miles
