sunday afternoon autumn biking with the lads, matt wanted a nice woodsy ride and that's exactly what he got, conditions were great, moist and muddy in paces, hard packed in others, but boy were the NW Woods busy, everyone had come out to enjoy the afternoon sun, so we had to dodge the families and dogs, the slave trail was really tricky with people standing at the foot of the descent, but we were courteous and slowed down for them. on the way over to "bunch of C****" Matts hip started to play up and he looked in a lot of pain, he has erosions issues with it and is a long tern on and off thing. we then promptly got a bit lost, then crossed from one Alp to the other up a little used (by us) steep trail eventually making it over to the beacon and the edge trail, Matt Bailed because of the pain and the rest of us carried on. a great ride only marred by Matt's injury, hope he recovers quickly
