the cotswold way circular ride

this ride was scheduled for last sunday but after 4 days of rain i postponed it, i needn't of worried, most of it (despite the map claiming 50/50 split) was on roads. this didn't make it unpleasant i just took the wrong bike really, a CX would have been much better apart from on one section of downhill covered with leaves which hid big rocks. a farmer even opened a gate for me and told me to keep to the right as he had just cut the hedge and might have missed some thorns when sweeping up.there are some big hills on this loop surrounding Broadway (it starts from Broadway Tower) but disappointingly the steepest hill is in the last 2 miles which was a bit of a rubbish finish, but there route has a lot of tweeking potential for next time
