i've not been on an early morning ride for eons apart from commuting, but a lunch appointment (very la-di-da!) means that i'll probably be too sleepy and full to ride later and the weather forecast was a bit iffy too, so waking up to a blue sky forced me out of my pit early and i set off. glorious! no one but the odd dog walker about and the trails to myself, a bit damp under tyre and very windy but all the same i really enjoyed it. i was a bit worried about going without breakfast but took an apple with me to eat at the mid point. in the event i think i timed it just right as i was just getting peckish when i turned for home. so a great ride and i think a few more earlies might be on the cards
