non wind assisted

despite a forecast of lots of rain today's ride was only hindered by very high winds, the best place was in the woods where there was a little shelter. this was proved when i crossed to Waseley and it's exposed top, pedalling downhill just to move is never fun. the woods and country park was very busy and i encountered walkers on nearly every trail i rode. Everyone was polite and cheerful though as we all battled against the wind. being back on the fat bike certainly took it's toll on my legs though, all this ordinary bike riding has made me soft!
