Hazard warning


All I can say is that it was a good job it was daylight for the start of this ride. The usually flat out, don't touch the brakes descent of "tankslapper" done in the dark would have been very dangerous as a huge tree had fallen across the path. There was also the added bonus of a sharp branch, just hidden behind my head, that was low enough to take a chunk out of my head or rip my back open if I hadn't seen it in time and been able to duck low enough.
no matter how often you ride the old familiar trails, always check the route for new obstacles first kids!
