typical, it had rained all day and the forecast was for it to continue raining. Obviously a soft shell jacket and water proof shorts & gloves would be the idea gear to wear. No it would not! it maybe drizzled a bit for 5 minutes than stayed completely dry. so i had to ride in the very loud shorts (goretex does rustle a lot) and suffer over heating in the jacket even with just a think wicking baselayer underneath. I shouldn't moan about it not raining but if it had I'd have felt a lot less daft and uncomfortable
