another rain free ride in a weekend of seemingly continuous bad weather, the sun came out and so did i!. as you can see from the picture it wasn't exactly dry out there. I was sure this window of opportunity was small as i could see the clouds coming back in so a ride that was never too far from home was called for and it was an incentive to keep the pace as high as i could. there seemed to be a lot of irresponsible dog owners about today, seemingly unable to control their dogs, but then that's what happens when your dog is off the lead in a public place. it's not the dogs fault though it's the owner being unable to train their mutt properly.
as i hit mile 9 it got considerably darker, it was time to up the pace higher and i actually increased my average speed.
home safe and in the shower and outside there was a huge hail shower, so up yours winter, i win this weekend!
