late autumn rides can be horrible, they can be damp, windy and cold, but occasionally you get a gem and this afternoon turned out to be one, granted it had been damp all day but the late afternoon sunset was one to savour, i rode via timberhonger and crown lane back to the top part of the canal and it was whilst on nthe final ascent i noticed the vista over my right shoulder. i jst had to stop and try and capture it. so no bike in the picture but i think even if there was one in it you wouldn't notice it, simply stunning,i wish my camera skills could do it more justice
