back in January in the depths of winter whilst having an enforced kay off from work i pedalled to Earlswood reservoir for something to make the hours pass more easily, today i returned but in a very much better frame of mind and in a much much happier time. conditions were 100% better too as the temperature was on the + side of zero and it didn't get dark at 4pm! i tried to remember the return route from last time but did take a wrong turn, but with no time pressure and no imediate prospect of it getting dark and being without lights it wasn't a panic. nearing home a proper plate of fish and chips and a beer was consumed. the polar opposite of the last time i did this ride
