recovery ride today after yesterdays long ride, weather couldn't be more different, showers and gloom. my geared bike needs new hub bearings so took the singlespeed out, not really a treat for tired legs but fun. i was thinking how niche it is, one speed, 29 inch wheels, wiggly bars, rigid forks and a mini frame bag. i also think it's a bit niche (or stupid) to be running part worn summer tyres in this UK summer and this was proved as lack of traction nearly biffed me into the canal at one point. so all nich bases covered....until the next one comes along ;-)
