a ride down memory lane tonight after work, we had planned another route but found the traffic really busy so, to avoid crossing to many main roads we followed our noses and stayed on country lanes. i'll admit at first i didn't have a clue where we were going but as the ride progressed i began to recognise the surroundings from rides i used to do 10 years or so ago, soon i got my bearings and was able to loop back home including an uphill sprint to catch up with "C" when i stopped for a call of nature at the bottom of the hill, i was sucking big wind by the time i got to the top. a lovely little ride of reminiscences in the early afternoon sun
