i've never ridden in the jungle, i've never visited the amazon basin but i have ridden in my local woods and the conditions there were very close to how i imagine these places are. all the vegetation was lush and verdant, after the recent wet weather everything was dripping with moisture and the temperature in the trees was close to 30 degrees and very humid. however this also means that even the areas that usually stay dry all year round are soaking and the mud thick as shown by the pic from today's ride, i literally stepped off the bike and it stood up on it's own so cloying and deep the mud
