wasn't sure where to go, started on the canal, but it was filthy and i didn't fancy the 20+ mile slog in the slop fest it would be to get home, so i went a different route, a lot on tarmac but interspersed with short sections of bridleway, most were very muddy. stopping for a sarnie i reflected that despite the gloop, the sun was out, i ws on the bike, the birds were singing, it's not all bad
