a blustery day led to a dry clear night and Ian and i made the most of it.whilst waiting at the rendevous point i got acosted by an attractive young girl runner who was lost, she made me jump by silently coming up behind me!, Ian and i did a loop of some of the old trails and away from the town, lights off the sky was stunning, loads of stars dominated by Venus. after standing around star gazing we both realized how cold it had suddenly got and the ground was beginning to sparkle with frost, but despite this (and maybe even because of it) it was a great ride
