the worcs/droitwich canal ride yesterday took more out of my legs than i thought and when Matt suggested an early Sunday ride i was in too minds, but i MTFU and got out there, the planned route was to use the tardebigge tunnel route, stop at the cafe at the craft centre for a brew then head home in a leisurely loop. i was glad i fitted a mud tyre on the back as the over night rain had turned the trail very tacky and traction was at a premium. unfortunately the cafe doesn't open on sundays, so some lost business there as we were very hungry!. disappointed we used a seldom used bridleway to the canal and over it to do a loop back via lanes to home
