7 miles into this ride i passed last years total mileage which was 1588 miles in 126 rides, so less rides but longer distances in a shorter time, it's going to be difficult to surpass this next year! i'm very pleased to have done this by the end of August with still 4 months of riding to go.
the ride wasn't perfect though, i blew up (bonked) at about 13 miles and the last 9 miles were powered by the apple i had taken with me, i also think i'm getting a cold which may have had an influence on this
