having driven back fom Dorset i needed to stretch my legs, so headed out with no particular destination in mid other than heading towards Worcester along the canal, then halfway to Hanbury wharf i thought about a picture i'd seen on twitter of a pub called The Mug House in Claines, so that became my goal with help from Google maps, i also tweeted to the chap who posted the pic that i was attempting to get there. he replied he was also going and would look out for me, i used the newly opened canal towpath to Droitwich then switched to the road, not ideal on a MTB, i got to Claines, managed to ride straight past the pub as it's tucked away behind a church but eventually found it, met up with @evilgordon and @cycleslikeagirl for a quick drink and conversation. @evilgordon pointed out another route home to avoid the main roads and it was great, all the way back to Droitwich by canal completely traffic free, the switched to the old familiar canal uphill to home, i hadn't eaten properly earlier so was glad to see my front door as i was beginning to Bonk a bit, but a great ride non the less
