rushed home, put gears back on the bike (different plans for a SS bike now) and popped out for a ride, nothing too taxing at the start just a lovely pootle in the evening sun, made my way around to The Queens Head and joined the canal, followed it all the way up to Tylers Lock and then over to the Alvechurch tunnel, up and over the hill and past The Crown, up the steep bridleway and home, lots of baby ducks on the canal and one mother of the duckling took exception to me passing by, very aggressive posturing! i also passed about 6 mtbers, unheard of around here!
