the Angry ride

having had a very frustrating week at work and dealing with complete incompetence with Santander Bank i needed to get out for a long hard ride just to make myself tired enough not to stress about it all evening, i planned it all day, the route and the climbs i was going to storm up fuelled by anger over the helplessness of the situation, every pedal stroke would be a punch the the face of bureaucracy, every stomp up a gradient a kick in the balls of the faceless uncaring "customer service" operatives. well, in the event, just before leaving for this tour of aggression and angst i had some welcome news, after 4 weeks of trying there apeared to be a glimmer of hope on the horizon and well that fair took the wind out of my sails and i did my usual ride! anger abated, which afterall is probably a good thing, riding angry can be exhilarating but a "don't give a fuck" riding style can be dangerous in the long run
