Well. that didn't last long. A simple puncture turns into a nightmare when your pump fails. The flexible hose seemed to be welded into its housing. No matter how much i wrestled with it or jammed in into the metal fencing it would not shift. The rescue car was called. Of course Sod's law decrees that as soon as the rescue car arrives so do two cyclists, probably with working pumps i could have used.
