the unexpected txt ride

out of the blue i got a txt asking on the off chance if i was able to ride, and i was! so we met up and headed through the woods. over to the Waseley's to get tea and cake, then over the hill to the toposcope, on the ridge there we "sessioned" the drop with Ben getting the most RAD air of the day. the blue sky made a perfect backround. it was great just to mess about and play around on bikes, over the hill and back to the woods to do the big downhill, this is one we did on the last night ride and it's a lot more scary in daylight as you can see all the roots and the drop which gets missed in the dark. Ben and i did proper DH/4X finishes, arms aloft at the end! we then went for an ice cream and some final trails before heading home, what a very unexpected and enjoyable play out with mates on a glorious day, it doesn't really get better than this
