last time i did this route it was in the pouring rain so it was good to do it in the relative dry, the lanes did remind me of the famous Belgian race, muddy and greasy and wet, feeling good i extended the route by 8 or so miles and took in some bigger hills, as i got nearer home the roads got increasingly more wet but i seemed to have missed all the rain, something good for once!
