i'd been told about a Cafe at Cutnall Green last year and never made the trip, so today i thought i would. "it's an easy route apart from one climb" this advice was spot on, the climb is a proper zig zag from side to side job but then descends and levels out again. riding 95% on country back roads is great but as you can see from the picture was absolutely filthy on this damp grey day, but it was about 11 degrees warmer than the last ride, the Lord Morton cafe does some lovely cake (i had lemon, very moist and tangy) but does suffer from the pensioner effect, i.e. just after i ordered a grey tsunami deluged the place, so pick your times wisely. after the cake and coffee stop i planned a longer route back via Chaddesley, Draycot and Belbroughton, again all on country roads but with quite a bit of climbing but it would be a superb route on a sunny day
