woke up feeling a bit rubbish, so put off the early morning ride and went walking instead, lungs felt like they were working at 3/4 capacity, then i realised what time of year it was, i have an allergy to certain pollen, usually tree pollen which is produced in early spring and causes the symptoms of a mild asthma, so when i got home took some anti histamine, gave it a few hours to work and rearranged the ride for the afternoon, into the NW Alps wooded areas again, trying trails not visited since before last winter and some not tried for years, some of the surfaces were actually dusty! long may it continue. symptoms much improved and breathing was normal, top job anti-histamine
