tried a different route home tonight, this one a ,ile further than the usual and includes two sections of off road and i detoured to take more pics of "the steps of doom" as discussed in a thread on Singletrackworld.com. i also took a couple of pics from the bottom much to the bemusement of a lady dog walker, she seemed a bit non plussed to see a lycra and hi viz vest wearing loon taking pictures of steps! :-)
not going to include this in the ride total but adding the mileage to the overall so,
ride total 310
commute 17 miles
total + commute miles 399
