great weather again today, very chilled ride playing in the local woods, lots of walkers and dogs about so we kept to the fringes and lesser used trails and did a few the opposite way to usual just for variety, weird conditions had frozen mud turning into axle deep gloop and back again in the space of a few feet, but after dissing their qualities in the past i'm really impressed with mud specific tyres (Bontrager mud x to be precise) and the ability they give you to ride through and up and down stuff whilst staying in control. the picture? well whenever you see logs piled in a bonfire shape you have to throw a Marverick on it don't you?
no birthday cake today but there was apple cookies and real bean coffee at the end :-)
