if you want to get anywhere on a bank holiday, don't live in a tourist haven, luckily i know this and felt quite smug passing the cars stuck in traffic which must have stretched about 4 miles whilst on my bike on the cyclepath. rode out to Barford where they are having a Scarecrow festival and village festivals mean...CAKE!! HOMEMADE CAKE!! yum!
still feeling a bit off (the German wine fest followed by real ale pub yesterday probably didn't help) but recovery cake has helped and some great biking news i received yesterday certainly helped, more on this soon!
