ok, here we go, attempt II at the greenway/long itchington ride, this time i stuck with the right hand spur, very bumpy, very narrow between the trees and bushes, turns out it's official title is a "permissive path", some great views too, eventually brings you out to the tunnel in the picture with then pops out onto the Grand Union Canal which is how i got back home, quite a nice loop all in all although i think the spur might quickly get overgrown.
