had a day off from work today so decided to ride the canal from Warwick to Stratford upon Avon, this includes the Shrewly tunnel which is a leap of faith as it disappears steeply down slope into blackness and you can't see what the ground under tyre is like, could be big holes or anything!, it's not until you get to the bottom of the slope that you can see light at the other end of the tunnel, scary but fun. didn't make it the whole way to stratford as there suddenly where lots of "no cycling" signs so i decided on another route and looped back throughClaverdon, where this pic is taken, "groomed bridleway" where the exsisting dirt track has been replaced by tarmac, makes it all weather but not so much fun for mountainbikers (and horses i suspect) there's lots of this replacement going on locally
ride 24
25 miles
total 274
