Big pro race to watch today so an early ride was in order to get into the mood to watch the pros suffering on the cobbles of the Ronde van Vlaanderen. No cobbles on this ride but plenty of frozen and unfrozen mud which turned into a pea grit sized grinding paste, it was great to be riding in the sunshine for a change and in this area there was very little snow
