not wanting the anti-climax of riding just local trails Ben and I drove to the Forest of Dean for a play. It was dry with just a few puddles here and there and once again very quiet. This gave us the chance do walk back up the trail in places to "session" the jumps and berms, we also followed a few " off piste" trails too just to spice things up. we found a series of jumps at Swallow Valletstoo which were a bit bigger than we were used to but we gave it a shot anyway. the final descent didn't disappoint either but on the other hand it seemed very short and tame after being spoilt in Scotland. A cuppa and a slice of lemon curd cake make up for it
